Johan Houdart is a Belgium painter, born in Mons in 1961.
He make his first contact with painting thanks to family paintings of father and grandfather. After his artistic humanities in the class of W. Mathys, he took evening drawing lessons in the class of the painter A.Gobert. He regularly visits the Museum of Fine Arts of Mons and reads everything he can about Painting and the history of Art. Painted extensively and exhibited at group events.
In 1981, noticed at the Salon of young Walloon painters at the Museum of Fine Arts in Mons, May have a workshop loaned by the province.
From 1982, the date of his first exhibition at the Art mural gallery in Mons, he never stopped painting and regularly exhibiting sandstone encounters with other artists, trips and relocations.
