Esme James

Esme was born in Dorset, UK and has lived in the country all of her life leaving only temporarily to move to Sydney, Australia to work for an international charity.

After graduating Esme undertook a career in Arts Marketing followed by Professional Fundraising for international & national charities and has now returned to the Arts working as a publicist for Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.

Esme has returned to her passion of painting with boundless enthusiasm, thriving on her imaginative use of strong vivid colours and shape. An affiliation with the great outdoors; the countryside, coast, architecture and wildlife provide Esme with a wealth of ideas for her work.

Esme James specialises in originals, limited edition prints and commissions.

Esme studied HND Fashion Design and Marketing, ND Fashion & Textiles at Arts University Bournemouth, GNVQ Art and Design at Bournemouth and Poole College.
