Telma Luize

Telma started with the basic painting, mastering technique and brush strokes. He knew the Batik and the negative painting technique, which was also used in experiments on painting in negative glasses, art nouveau type, and woodcuts.

It dominates the use of numerous types of brushes, techniques and materials. On this journey she experimented the gestural painting and the precision of a creation in single brushstroke.

Also makes use of recycled materials in order to generate a new item from something already existing, in a continuous reuse.

She attracted by the record of time as well as its evolution and concept, which has led to apply the set of techniques experienced over time in the generation of a new type of art, which requires the use of many different techniques overlapped in a dynamic interaction and harmonious, recording the passage of time or what else needs to be recorded.

The artist also seeks to capture the current thoughts and records that people leave wherever they go, whether on the street, on the internet or any other public space in the cities.

The works take ownership of these events and daily records, in a profusion of disconnected and misunderstood information, just as it is today through the vario...

Graduated in Pedagogy.
Graduate in Art in Education.
He has studied Contemporary Art at the Edilson Viriato Plastic Artist Studio since 1994.
He studied Art and Oil Painting on Canvas with Professor Leo Ângelo Sperandio's Atelier.
He studied color psychology and artistic painting from 1986 to 1991 with sister Iracema Domitila of the Sacred Heart of Jesus College, graduated in Fine Arts in Italy.
