I have been a professional Artist for many years, sometimes coupled with part time teaching and workshops.
These days I teach via YouTube which is great fun, going to interesting locations painting and filming along the way.
My special interest is painting light, my paintings are in public and private collections worldwide, as well as reproduced prints and cards.

Many private commissions of Yachts and Motor Yachts, together with Classic boats attending many rallies and regattas.
Optical illusions for several Opticians shops.
A regular visitor to London, painting by The River Thames, collectors include members of both the House of Lords and The House of Commons.

A former lecturer in Art. I also served as a visiting Artist to local Schools, the school would set up models for portraits or a still life and up to a hundred people would be watching.
I have taught many short masterclasses, and weekend studio events.
My sculpting career came later. I took many months of stainless steel welding classes together with sculpting masterclasses with well known Sculptors in Stone. My interest in light continues with my sculptures, where I make patterns to form interesting shadows.
