Alison Silveira Morais is a master's degree student in Translation Studies and Literature at Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, his artistical insterests transites among the fields of medieval literature, feminism , Theology, the gothic and horror genres, and most of his works, which are mainly drawings and paintings, contains traces of this. He is a very versatile artist and there isn't a favorite material, technique or strand he follows. There are works of pointillism, surrealism, abstract and many experimental pieces.
" Drawing to me is never about the final result on the canvas or paper, my art is fluid and it is in constant movement, it is an eternal process — What facinates me however is the one line drawing technique mixed with very colourfull watercolor fluid textures and painting. I'm an observer, a nature lover, a writer, a poet, a student, but above all, I'm an artist.
Graduated in the English Program at Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, working with Literature, sci-fi and theology.
Master's degree student in the Translation Studies Program at Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, where my research is about The Book of Margery Kempe, within the fields of medieval Literature, Theology, feminism, paratexts and autobiography.
