Nicolas Cascio

I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. My place of residence is Brooklyn, New York since 2001.

Live Art on the Street provides original paintings to those interested in unique artworks. I am the maker of these artworks and I have always maintained the idea of keeping each piece hand made, therefore no reproductions are available. MY work has elements of mixed media, collage, recycled materials such as newspapers and plastic bags and mostly images of iconic landscapes of New York City but it is not limited to it.
For the past 10 years I have kept this idea of originality. Although the work evolves, I always keep the same basis of working with texture and different materials. The main venues where I exhibit my artworks are fairs, Holiday Markets and a few art shows.


While finishing my B.A. in Art Studio at Hunter College, I decided that I needed to start selling my artwork, but did not know where or how. So I packed a few paintings I had and went out to Union Square Park to try my luck ( it was with my brother Angel with whom I started the business, he is also an artist). And one sell led to another and I took some time and research to find new venues to exhibit my artwork. My inspiration is always the same, it is the necessity to exhibit what I do and know that this business is limitless because art is limitless.
