De Bagneux Maxence

Born in Bois-Guillaume in France, Maxence de Bagneux, since his childhood, spend most of his spare time travelling, learning drawing and painting.
After studying Fine Art and gratuated in 2001 in Interior Design and Product Design in Paris - Ecole Camondo -, he decided to take his chance and discover Asia.
In 2009, after diffrent fields experiences he finally choosed to come back to his real desire: drawing and creating, and has since dedicated his life for his art.
He left Asia for Berlin. There he inspired himself with the creative energy surrounding him,and start developping his own style.
His technique today is based on color. His works are filled with a positive melancoly which also are asociated to a «naive touch» that seams to define properly his work.
Inspired by contemporary figuratives painters such as Marlene Dumas, Peter Doig or Maria Lassnig but also by the Art Brut movement, where he endlessly takes his inspiration.
Today, he works and live between Paris and his studio in Normandy, where he is developping his new pieces .
