ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Inspired by 90s UK Britpop era but also referencing 1960s subculture and pop art and its continued creative influence. I wanted to convey what I heard in the music visually so went for simple but bold shapes and solid colour to create impact, the colours expressing a British element. The image was screen printed on board then digitized and coloured.

Recent MA study in Art and Design has taken my practice in a typographic/pop-cultural direction.
