ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Mixed media. Digital photograph printed on a calligraphy's paper transfered on plaster. "They lost their native land, they left their home and their proprieties to keep their freedom. How to move on without looking back? How to put memorabilia back together, from these remainders?" This project is a research through my lost identity. This is part an art project about my father's family, concerning the immigration of the '40s and '50s from Histria to Italy.
