Tariel Ahmedov

My name is Tariel, I was born in Neftchala,Azerbaijan in 1972. My first experience as an aspiring painter was during at my 18's.

My influences were Edgar Degas,
Filipp Malyavin, Henryk Siemiradzki and Egon Schiele.
Edgar Degas, one of the most observant and thoughtful painters ever, he used color brilliantly and densely, applying the paint in long linear strokes. It was very personal – his emotional crises and periods of madness gave additional impact to his work.
Egon Schiele..He was a master draughtsman, a master of beauty. I am most inspired by his self portraits, and what I take from him is how he captures a personal essence - not a “pretty” or
flattering essence.

It was here that I realized that I wanted to pursue my career in this field.

I currently work from home and sometimes I teach painting.

I studied art in Tambov, Russia in 1988-1991,where I earned my qualifications as a painter. It was here that I furthered expanded on my knowledge in painting.

My personal collections were exhibited in USA, Canada , Austraila ,Italy ,Spain, Russia and many other countries.
