ABOUT THE ARTWORK

In my pictorial universe, every creative concept in my works is based on shades of blue. According to color psychology, the color blue can convey a state of mind of peace, tranquility, confidence and security, but I like to imagine the color blue as something supernatural, like a bluish veil created by God to protect and safeguard all his creative work. in the land. Inspired by this visual perception, I have sought to perfect my technique every day, just like an “alchemist of art" who seeks to transform colors and shapes into messages of love, peace and hope. In this sense, as in a synesthetic relationship, the essence of meanings of that color and what it can provoke in people's senses has led me, above all, to an attentive look at emotions, diversity and human plurality. And through stylized figures in shades of blue, painted on a multicolored geometric backdrop, which is more reminiscent of the urban landscapes of a city, with streets and graffiti walls, I have tried to connect with people, especially with the new generations, whether through the painting of a musician playing her accordion or, in another moment, telling the story of an African princess taken captive from her homeland on slave ships.
