Adam Slatter

I have always loved drawing/painting from an early age and have continued to do so through mediums such as charcoal to produce line drawings of animals with a simple black line, to using acrylic paint applied with a pallette knife to give texture and expression on canvas. Currently animals are my subject matter, focusing on native wildlife in Norfolk. The ‘hare’ is most common throughout my work as there is something beautiful, stoic and majestic about them. I paint the animals on a grey background to highlight the colours I use often the images are painted in a fictional pink grass to add an extra depth to the painting. I love to paint.
