About The Artwork
Third piece in a series exploring pattern. I am including more influences from Asian art in my pieces at the moment, taken from sources I collected when visiting Thailand, Indonesia and Seville specifically. I am also interested in turning my patterns from 2D to 3D using quilling, which I feel lends itself really well to the intricate patterns. This piece is framed in a thin black wooden frame with a dark green bevel edge mount.
