Her abstracted, multi-layered studies in ink, acrylic and watercolour are evocative of the vibrant land and seascapes which inspire her. Young Jameison’s bold canvases and works on paper recount explorations around the rugged coast of Cornwall. This particular piece is inspired by the reflections and shadows in rock pools and shallow water on a bright day experimenting with layering up shapes using ink and acrylic. And laying debris on top of the material found on the North Cornwall Coastline to create unique textures captured from a moment in time.

Influenced by the county’s unique light and the way it affects the surrounding environment, Victoria's work captures a truly original approach with regards to natural landscape art. By working with a wide range of media that include wax, resin as well as glue, she allows for the fluid nature of these materials to work of their own accord, in this way imitating the shifting and dramatic seasons of the Cornish coastline.
