Nebulous Stimulus One Painting

Part Of A New 'Trash Art Series' .. The series evolved when I decided to work abstractly on top of Older Figurative Painting hence 'Trash Art' or 'Trashed Art '.. The series further evolved when I also decided to collage parts of older work on paper onto their surfaces .. I was seeking a greater freedom with the materials that previous figuration hadn't allowed for. The aim was to use the underlying figuration to stimulate ideas that I would not have otherwise have thought of. parts of the previous paintings are often left , and sometimes completely buried in the process .. It was /is a kind of new order out of chaos and confusion .. :-) ..
