My work is bold and colourful. I am described as a Colourist. I work a great deal in mixed media and some oil. My subject matter usually comes from my travels; either within Scotland or in Europe. Architecture, Landscape and Still Life tend to be the recurring themes.
Recipient of numerous awards throughout my career, which have allowed me to travel and work in various places in Europe as well as New York.
I have lectured part time at ECA and University of Northumbria (visiting Lecturer). I teach two or three times a year in England and Scotland.
Studied Painting at Edinburgh College of Art. BA Hons. Post Graduate Diploma in Painting with Distinction. RSW.
September: Tatha Gallery, Newport upon Tay. 3 person show with Richard Demarco and Dawson Murray.
