Yan Leusha was born in 1998 in Braslav (Western Belarus). Braslav region is also called lake district.To the National Park "Braslav Lakes" which has more than 300 reservoirs and there is a lot of artists. Yan began his art education at the I. O. Akhremchik Lyceum in Minsk. He left his native place when he received information that the art university. There will be no admission to the sculpture direction in Minsk. Yan decided to leave for Lviv, where he graduated from Academi with honors in 2018. Art, while simultaneously studying graphics and monumental sculpture. In 2018 It was at this university that Leusha's first solo exhibition was held, called "prostaje/SKLADANAJE". The title of the exhibition has a symbolic for the artist, and concepts such as boundary, complexity and separation are the leitmotif of his work, as well as the search for beauty and learning from nature. These terms are Leusha is associated with the native sides, the location of Braslav, which is a border town (adjacent to Lithuania and Latvia) and the process of creating sculpture and graphics. Leusha decided that he would continue his education in sculpture at Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. Poland seemed natural to him because the artist has Polish roots. In 2021, he defended his master's degree at the Faculty of Sculpture. The first solo exhibition in Warsaw took place in November 2022 at the „Art in House” auction house. He participated in the „Grenzen” project with the sculpture "Self-portrait". Poznan, Berlin, Vilnius, Kiev. 2022 The artist has participated in many competitions and exhibitions in Poland and abroad
