Teo Sirio Sica

Teo Sirio Sica is a traditional & innovative painter, expressing all the joy of life.
Coming from the warm Southern Italian sea-town of Salerno, and currently enjoying mountiain air in Bratislava (Slovakia), he brings you the lively colors of Mediterranean magic. Half a day a professor of Italian language and creative writing at the Italian Institute of Culture, and super-hero painter at night, he wants to spread a bit of paradise on Earth vibes for everyone to enjoy themselves here and now.

My colours are coming from within my southern Italian roots. I translate the vibrancy of life there into chromatic wavelengths. Shape is interesting for me, but the dialogues between colours is highly fascinating. In my artistic code, forms are containers of colours. My official education includes a Master's Degree in Modern Comparative Literature (Italy) and a Diploma at the Faculty of Humanistic studies (Kent University, UK). My artistic background is a dense adventure of experiences as a young graffiti artist, a comics artist, an avid art gallery visitor and a member of various artistic communities and collectives. I let art lead me by hand into its world.
