Najmaddin Huseynov was born in 1955 in the village of Chayli, Gazakh district, Azerbaijan. From a young age, Mr. Huseynov exhibited a profound passion for art, beginning to draw as early as the 3rd grade, thus embarking on his creative journey early on. He received his formal education at the Azerbaijan State Art School from 1977 to 1981, mastering the fundamentals of fine arts. Over a prolific 70-year career, he has produced more than 4000 original and diverse works. His artistry goes beyond graphics, incorporating oil painting and various other techniques to convey rich and meaningful imagery. His works cover a wide range of subjects and have been exhibited in solo shows across Azerbaijan, particularly in Gazakh district, Baku, Agstafa district, and other cities, earning acclaim from art enthusiasts. Some of his pieces are preserved in private collections. In 2006, a catalogue titled “Üçüncülər” was published under the initiative of the Gazakh District Executive Authority. In 2020, he was awarded a Gold Medal at an exhibition held in Moscow, Russia for his work titled “My Grandfather”. Currently, Najmaddin Huseynov lives in a remote village in Azerbaijan, where he continues his artistic pursuit fueled by enduring passion and dedication.
