I am a fabric collage artist, who hopes to convey a joy of living, optimism and to celebrate life through my vibrant, colourful collages.My collages are inspired by the enchanting natural world, love and passion.The British countryside and the world's exotic places are depicted in my pictures. My medical background as a Histopathologist has also inspired me to depict microscopic images as colourful and exotic landscapes.I create my pictures by heat-bonding hundreds and thousands of scraps of fabric remnants and recycled textiles on canvas and then embellishing them with diamante, coloured stones and crystals to create a rich and evocative fairy-tale mood.
