Carola Frey

In my work I intend to release the image (but not only, intention applied to the creative proposal as well) from the mimesis constraints and ideological pressures of a realist aesthetic, that remains outer and ineffective. I'm moving towards an art that focuses on language and techniques of expression.
The relationship between the realization and the concept is developed around the idea of materiality and form, of a subtle game between the two, which is not systematic. It will also imply a topical allusion and color theory.
