Claudia Yates

My work is a personal universe inspired in legends, fables and middle ages images. In wich the main character is woman.
My intention is to explore her role in the stories and in the images and also her place with nature.
My women are surrounded by nature and naturally pose nude to reveal their freedom and their connection with the environment. It is a symbiosis that awakens sensitivity and intuition in them.
The use of pure and bright colors of the atmosphere contrast with their dreamy bodies and their serene attitude. They are women who guide us and immerse us into this dream world where love and calm invite us to fantasize poetry and connect with our origins.
I use vivid colors, specially red, my favorite color. Red is always present, is a breathing colour that evoke life and accentuate the passion. 
In this oneiric universe, I hope to transport you and invite you to keep the paintings alive by creating your own story.
