Delicate mandalas with spiritual and contemplative patterns in shimmering metallic tones shine from the walls into the rooms, alongside expressive abstract paintings and African-inspired works inspired by folk art, Natalia Schäfer refuses to be pigeonholed. The work of the self-taught artist, who was born in Russia and has lived in Germany for many years, is as diverse as the techniques she has developed. She uses materials such as real gold, silver and copper to perfect her artworks. Driven by a deep understanding of aesthetics, she offers the viewer beauty and relaxation in our often hectic daily lives. Natalia has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions and art fairs in Berlin, London, Zurich, Gstaad, Montreux, Monaco, Rome, Venice, Miami, New York, Tokyo and Dubai. Since 2009, she has successfully produced a large number of calendars, stationery and gift books in collaboration with renowned German-language publishers. In addition, she regularly offers workshops to encourage the creativity.
