Victoria Velitchkova

My journey as an artist has been shaped by so many different influences, each one leaving its mark on who I am and how I create. My background in economics and management from King's College London isn’t something you’d expect to find in an art studio, but it’s given me a way to understand the bigger picture—how people, systems, and societies connect. That perspective sneaks into my work in the way I structure my compositions, grounding them while allowing me to dive into deeper, more philosophical questions. And then there’s psychology—such a huge part of my creative process. I try to tap into universal emotions, creating pieces that resonate on a subconscious level and invite you to really feel what’s on the canvas.

Growing up between the USA and Sofia gave me a kaleidoscope of experiences to draw from, and now, in my London studio, everything seems to come together. My passion for art blends with my fascination for philosophy, psychology, and even my economics background. This mix drives me to explore those timeless human questions—why we’re here, what it all means, and how we make sense of it.
