One must be more disciplined and civilized to live in the big city; an artist must adapt his lifestyle. At a certain point in your life, a force from within motivates you to become an artist. No matter if you are a human or an animal, if you are living in a different environment than you are used to, one must adapt in order to survive. I try to express my thoughts on “matter” or the objects around us such as air, water, humans, animals, and plants in my artwork. As far back as I can remember I lived a countryside life, easy-going and based in nature. Until, as an adult, I moved to the capitol and life became complicated and I struggled. Struggling often occurs when humans, animals, or plants must live in different environments from where they lived in the past. So we must adapt ourselves to survive, physically and mentally.
