Azadeh Kiankhah

For me, every place has its own forms, and they can be extracted. These shapes are rooted in the culture, lifestyle, and needs of the region. My collages have taken shape during my travels around Iran, by sticking pieces of my paintings, designs, and photographs onto them, I have tried to create a new identity .
For instance, in the artwork "Woman's Body," I portrayed an electric motor as the woman's body by affixing a photo of Breast of a woman's chest onto the motor's wheels! The woman is depicted as a generative being and a source of vitality, deserving of respect.
