Yannick Hamon was born and raised in Toulouse, France. From a young age Hamon had a keen sense of creativity that was against the norm of the typical paint and canvas. He made experimentation one of the most important facets of his artistic practice. His love, and use of female imagery, incorporating his graphic design, and calligraphy background, using bold, neon palettes of colors, highlighting a black and white composition of a beautiful female face. Hamon's paintings take on the appearance of a newspaper, media headline or pop culture imagery which aligns us with the quickly moving and rapidly changing world.
