Wanda W Dye

DYE-PROJECTS was founded by Wanda W Dye as an archive of her academic, curatorial and creative practices. Wanda is an award-winning Architectural educator and has worked in academia, art, and architecture for over 25 years and was the founding director of RE gallery in Dallas, Texas for over 5 years. Before academia and the gallery, she was an architectural designer at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and Smith-Miller + Hawkinson in New York from 1994- 1999. From 2010-2016 she founded and directed RE gallery + studio in Dallas Texas, a small art and design exhibition space/practice. RE was featured in ARTSY, ARTS+CULTURE Texas, Dallas Modern Luxury, Purple Fashion, Dallas Morning News, D Magazine, Dallas Observer, Juxtapoz and other online publications and was visited by artists, designers, curators, and patrons from all over the world. Through founding RE gallery, she curated over 40 shows and gave many emerging artists their first solo shows. Through her RE studio practice, her temporary video/light/sculpture public art installations, were shown at Make Art with Purpose Festival, AURORA, and Cedars Open Studios.
