Arizona-based painter, Miranda Gamel, creates fantastical worlds, working in oil paint, as well as aerosols and acrylic paints. Her work explores themes of self-discovery and empowerment through her whimsical marks, poetry, and color palettes ranging from quiet to vibrant.
After graduating from a Fine Arts program, Miranda focused on honing her oil painting skills, while also mastering the combined use of aerosols and acrylics. Her process allows for the layers to emerge and transform, drawing a parallel to the stops we make through our journey in life.
