I compose my pictures on-the-spot while playing hide and seek with the atmosphere around me. When a subject speaks to me, I look at it from all angles until I find that certain spark. For me, photography is fun, intuitive and joyful.
I am forever on the look-out for movement, allusions, reflections and thermic shocks in the subjects that fascinate me most: extreme sports, nature and the environment.
Nature is my guiding light – the force in my life. I love feeling the power of the elements and plunging into the wilds, attempting to translate into my images all that is primordial and poetic.
Part of my job involves capturing the moment while the other is choreographing its continuity. Imagining how my pictures will integrate into the exhibition space is an area that fascinates me as much as shooting the image.
