Born in South Korea and relocated to Argentina at the age of eight, I have been deeply influenced by the vibrant cultural tapestry of Latin-American, while still retaining a connection to my roots. My formative years were spent in an industrial factory environment, surrounded by hard workers whose resilience and dedication have profoundly shaped the themes of my early artworks. I pursued formal art education in the United States, where I obtained my undergraduate degree from a prestigious art school, further developing my skills and deepening my artistic perspective. Over the past 25 years, I have dedicated myself to the exploration of painting, ultimately gravitating towards the use of acrylics due to their vivid colors and sharp definition. My work is largely inspired by the formidable presence of architectural structures and the boundless possibilities of spatial depth. These elements have consistently driven my creative process, leading me to focus on geometric forms in my paintings. The clarity and impact of these shapes capture the essence of my visual and thematic interests, reflecting both the massive, imposing nature of architecture and the infinite expanses of spaces. Through my art, I seek to invite viewers into a world where the monumental and the abstract spaces converge, creating a dialog between the tangible and the perceptual.
