Assol Agaidarova

My home city is Almaty, Kazakhstan. A full-time painter, I prefer not to plan a day ahead so I can look for my subject, and paint it straight from life whenever needed. I carry my paints along the most places I go.
I am a big fan of the outdoor painting, though the climate conditions can be a bit sceptic to this idea :-)
I choose the traditional oil and linen canvas mediums for work as they bring me the most joy. It is a lot of physical experience, and the expectation, when I myself prepare my supports, as well as emotion, when I unpack the colors and let them flow in... I take my time and moment of peaceful work, maybe it is not exactly in hand with the digital era... my way of interacting with nature, and life around me.
