At It Drawing

the work is inspired by an undulating tree located in a park in Prague, across the street from the church where the freedom fighters who shot Heydrich,were surrounded by the Nazis during WWII. The evocative forms suggest human behavior. I hope viewers will appreciate the great aesthetic qualities about the work, the contrast especially, and also the humorous activity displayed in the drawing. I have been creating an Anthropomorphic Tree Drawing series of trees with human characteristics that I have been discovering in my travels. ( World Tree Series) Charcoal is a malleable medium that provides the depth and flexibility that pleases me in my layered drawing process.
