His illustration speaks more than anything about what is beyond what we see, beyond color and beyond a reality we do not see; it is born mainly from the hope of seeing the future and of expecting better things, a life full of colors and try to see it as joyful as possible

This illustration is part of a series of different drawings, with the same size, which seeks, thanks to its figure mismatches, deformation of lines and a choice of a bluish color palette, typical of the latest works of Zoe Lunar, a reflection and introspection of the personal meaning of time, such as that, as subjects of interpretation, we put ourselves in the middle of time and that time influences so much our interpretation of reality.

The work is also a combination of means of which watercolor is highlighted to give color to the drawing, the pencil used to give volume to the body

The drawing was made on 200 gram acid free cotton paper using Derwent pencils and Winsor and Newton watercolors.

The work of art is sent with all the necessary measures for its preservation along the way to your new home.

Zoe Lunar (Mexico City, 1991) is a visual artist whose work is an introspective journey where time folds and reality transforms. His practice explores the complexities of time, perception, and identity, combining traditional techniques such as oil painting with contemporary drawing and illustration to create pieces that oscillate between the tangible and the ethereal. Through delicate lines, folds, and chromatic distortions, Zoe invites the viewer to question how we experience the present and to inhabit the space between memory and presence. His work evokes a sensation of movement suspended in time, as if a single instant stretched across multiple moments. Deeply influenced by the poetics of quantum theory and the experience of inhabited space, he constructs visual narratives that turn the instant into living matter. His works have been exhibited in galleries in Mexico and abroad, and are part of private collections in China, Turkey, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Beyond his artistic practice, Zoe shares his creative process and reflections on digital platforms, promoting the teaching and dissemination of art—from painting and drawing techniques to discussions about the artist’s life. He invites you to immerse yourself in a world where time unfolds and perception renews itself.
