About The Artwork
Light installations are site dependent and interactive. I use argon gas in clear or white powdered tubes. The tubes are suspended from the ceiling in groups of five or six polygons. Pictured is an installation of twelve 96 in light tubes.

Monika Wulfers received a BA in Philosophy from North Central College in Naperville, Illinois and an MFA with a concentration in Painting from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She made significant contributions in art and technology and advanced the use if the computer as artistic medium. Her work includes neon installations, painting, and video, and has been shown in museums in the US, Austria, Slovak Republic, Czech Republic, the UK, Malaysia, and Germany. Her work is included in museum and private collections here and abroad.
