Nancy Benton is a painter based in the San Francisco Bay Area. She started painting in her 2-bedroom condo, which she shares with her husband and daughter. Canvases were hung from the bedroom wall and the kitchen table was covered with ongoing projects. In 2014 she rented a studio space which allowed her to grow and expand as an artist. Since then she has been drawing out a conversation between the painter, painting and viewer about the landscape, focusing on themes such as solitude, loneliness and human relationships. Nancy's work is available through JCOs ArtHaus in Los Gatos.
