Relationship Painting

Art is an opportunity to talk about things and create conversation about emotionally charged topics. I found that my painting could certainly played an important role to convey this engagement. My paintings often carry a message with strong emotional charge, tension or serenity. Using semi-abstract, abstract and in some cases, verges on impressionism to realism style, I want them to be used to make a difference, to reflect and not only be decorative, because the purpose of their existence is to make a difference: They often express themselves in a spontaneity, a fervor, a determination that defies the rules established. Through each painting, it is the encounters we make, relationships that are knotted and woven. We have so much to gain when we are open minded towards other. This need to see beyond, to go to the other, to know our differences but always respect differences and seek equity. Fascinated by movements and light, most of my paintings embody motions and emotion with intense colours and textures. I engage myself to remit 10% of each sale to organizations that promote social equality.
