“Study of elementary mathematical axioms” Painting

Spanish artist based in Zurich interested in topics such as machines, technology and scientific terms. Her artwork is a confrontation between nature and industrial development. She combines fragments of drawings with scientific and mathematic nomenclature, exploring the option of using technical concepts as aesthetic language of expression. She also uses an old painting technique, called encaustic, which mixes mainly natural materials such as beeswax and resin. On her paintings, she researches about qualities of natural materials at the same time that tries to avoid its disappearance with the industrial development.
