Lise. Köln 2002. Ca. 1997 habe ich verschiedene Portraitstudien von Mädchen gemacht, u.a. von meiner Tochter, deren Freundinnen, Mitschülerinnen, zum Ende ihrer Schulzeit. Schwarz / weiß Aufnahmen mit der Rolleiflex, Format der Negative 6 x 6 cm. Dieses Negativ hier habe ich für die Ausstellung : "Mädchenbilder - What will be the future" verwendet, das ich zur Internationalen Photoszene Köln 2014 ausgestellt habe. Untergrund war ein relativ kleines Styrodurstück, das ich auf einer Kölner Baustelle gefunden habe. Zartrosa, sehr leicht und sehr sauber. Eine analoge Aufnahme, bearbeitet in der Dunkelkammer. Dieses Bild asoziert einerseits etwas sehr Verletzes, fast Verunstaltetes, aber auch an einen altmodisch über das Gesicht gezogenen kostbaren Spitzenschleier.

Susanne Pareike (1946 born in Bramsche) is a documentary impressionist with an eye for the details of everyday life. Her approach is interdisciplinary. Her art evolves out of a dialogue between the classical art techniques, such as drawing, painting and sculpture and the modern: photography, video and print media. Her art builds a bridge between traditional and modern ways of creative expression. The topics that interest her are of a rather temporal nature: Observations in a landscape, in rooms and of structures. People and situations are documented through the artist’s eye, reflected in time and space and interpreted.
