About The Artwork
Is a compliment to women, a symbolism. Versality, delicacy an strength of women are reflected in all the collection. The author makes a comparison between flowers and women. Each one is different, as each flower they represent. Among them, the poppy is seen as the symbol of the memory of the 1st World War victims and, from then on, of all the military victims and of the armed civil conflicts since 1914. The anthurium is a flower with a great legend as it is considered to have aphrodisiac properties and it is also a symbol of fertility. The almond blossom means "awakening" or "being awake". However, innocence and purity are symbolized with margueritas. This project was presented for women's day, March 8th, 2018.
