Sculpture: Wood, Resin on Steel.
Mankind has been always trying to manage and handle the "Arts", so to be expressed through them and some times with big success as we know.
But we seem to forget the greatest artist of them all and this is "The Mighty Nature".
As about my creation, I was just lucky to find a great piece of nature's artifacts and tried through means of today's crafts and science methods, to give the shine that belongs to it, without diminishing the glare of it's natural appearance.
A big old chesnut slab of a unique tree, was processed to be formed in a more habitable shape, laying on a pair of "C" shaped opposite facing frame steel feet, completed with two sturdy steel columns in each side. As about the wheels, they just had to be put so the whole construction to be moved around easily.
Heavy, solid, sturdy, still you can feel the forest's power through it's silent excistance, while traveling your palms gently on it's back.
Live with it.
