Liliana Graham

Liliana was born in Romania near the Black Sea and spent her childhood in the shade of unspoiled beauty of the Carpathian Mountains. In time she earned a degrees in Mechanical engineer and one in Ballroom Dance and Art endowing a rich dichotomy of form and function that would later serve to influence her painting style.
Liliana brought a rich, European influence to America and now imbues its spirit into her art. Her colors are often surprising, and has come to represent her particular accent and creative vision.

Artistic expression

The relaxed, seaside atmosphere of the Central Coast has helped her recognize the vitality of spirited creativity. She considers herself an expressionist with a penchant for abstraction. While realism is an interesting form she feels it limits the cognitive environment between the piece and the viewer which is so vital in keeping art both accessible and enjoyable.

While form and line are the most important renderings of the an artist's vision, she believes her art very clearly shows a reliance on strong colors schemes added emphasis.
