Carlos Manuel Martinez

Carlos Manuel Martínez is a photographer based in Caracas, Venezuela. His training as a photographer began in photography schools such as the Nelson Garrido Organization, the Roberto Mata Photography Workshop and the Rodrigo Benavides Photography Workshop.
His personal work has been exhibited in the newspaper El Nacional, the Biennial of Hatillo in Caracas and the Aella Foto Latina photo festival, within the Month of Photography in Paris. His activity as a photographer is divided between teaching, commercial photography and his personal work.
His personal work has a documentary nature with an experimental attitude, always in the search for an aesthetic that is true to the emotions of what is documented.
His activity as a photography instructor began by giving workshops at Simón Bolívar University, also independently through his firm Autana Pixels and at the Center for Research and Photo Studies (CIEF), at Montaña Creativa, in Caracas .
