Images come from silence. They bring a fascination, a trace to be captured.
They need silence to be fully enjoyed.

Abstract art delves deep and produces symbolic allusions.
I was born in Cesenatico, on the Adriatic coast, a place of soft colors, pastel pink and light blue. I currently live in Milan. My sources of inspirations are from the world around me, which means nature in all its magnificence and variety, people in all their diversity, cities, music and sounds, ultimately everything that can possibly foster my imagination.
Every approach to a new painting is a sort of challenge. I go forward a new environment and stay open to every possibility that comes my way. The tools needed are intuition, wakefullness and a healthy dose of determination.
I invite you to look at my works: it would be a joy for me if you get in tune with some of them and eventually experience any emotion.

I have a background as a professional photographer, wich gave me a sense of composition, contrast and balance. When I started painting I learned from variuos artists the techniques I needed, until I developed a way to express myself. My goal has always been to paint in an objective way. It means sincerity, skill, no compromise.
I have several themes that I carry forward over time.
Landscapes
Straights and wavy lines of energy that intersect, delimiting imaginary spaces, often labyrinthine.
Bateau
Floating boats that support abstract geometries, more properly music displayed through lines and colors.
Triads
Abstract compositions based on the interaction of three colors with three intersecting geometric shapes, creating a constantly varying dynamism.
Variations #
Free interpretations of a theme inspired by crystals.
Free
A gestural approach over a treated surface, where the sign moves in a complete freedom, and the result is always a surprise.

My tendency is to develop a theme through a series of paintings in which I make variations in shapes and colors, before moving on to the next theme.
An example is the Triads series, with twelve variations.

I made many exibitions through the years, from small and cosy galleries to theaters, libraries and conference rooms. During the last decade I exposed my paintings in Milan, Turin, Genova, Cremona, Bologna, Florence, Rome and Palermo.
