Jutta Rika Bressem

Jutta Rika Bressem studied painting and design at the Academy of Design in Wiesbaden, where she graduated with a Master of Fine Arts. She lives and works as a professional artist on the German North Sea coast. Bressem is a member of the Professional Association of Visual Artists and regularly participates in national and international exhibitions, including in the United States, Japan, Italy, France, Poland, Switzerland, and numerous German cities.
"I create abstract paintings that explore balance, movement, and quiet emotional depth.
My work is intuitive and process-driven, focusing on subtle shifts in color, texture, and rhythm. Rather than telling a specific story, each piece is designed to create an atmosphere — one that feels calm, grounded, and open to interpretation.
I am particularly interested in how abstract art lives within a space. My paintings are created to work harmoniously in contemporary interiors, offering a sense of pause and presence while still carrying energy and complexity.
All works are original and part of cohesive series, allowing them to be displayed individually or combined as a curated wall arrangement."
