Fundamentally, art is perceived through the uniqueness of experience.
My work explores this boundary by decoding the images embedded in the foundation of human speech.
As an artist and a discoverer, I develop and restore fragments of a proto-language — a system of living hieroglyphs where sound, meaning, and form arise from a single source. I use my creative practice not only for expression, but as a way to bring this discovery into the world through visual works that reveal the hidden architecture of consciousness.
Each piece is more than an image; it is a recovered element of an ancient structure, where forgotten signs and modern technology reunite in a living revelation.
I see my role as the first to translate this symbolic system into contemporary art, creating a bridge between primordial language and today’s visual culture.
“Where art becomes language, and language becomes light.”
Andrei Bannikov began his artistic journey through the discipline and expressive freedom of figure skating. Andrei dedicated more than 30 years to this craft, becoming a Bronze Medalist at the professional American Open Championship in 2002 and performing in renowned ice shows around the world.
This foundation in movement, form, and emotional storytelling later evolved into his visual art practice, where he continues to explore the deeper structures of language, symbolism, and human perception.
Andrei’s digital artworks have been featured in EFX Art & Design Magazine and exhibited in galleries across New York, Cancun, and Moscow. His early showcases introduced his symbolic visual language to an international audience and marked the beginning of his transition into conceptual and proto-linguistic art.
