Olga Casanova is a Spanish collage artist who creates contemporary mixed-media analog paper collages. Her work blends vibrant textures with minimalist compositions
Through her art, Olga materializes her "presence" onto paper, with each abstract collage becoming a collection of conscious moments. Her pieces tell stories—not only of her own life experiences but also of the lives of other women.
Olga aims to empower women and inspire those who view her art to discover more beauty and mindful moments in their own lives.
After graduating in Graphic Design Olga found herself drawn to working using low-tech methods rather than computers. This allowed greater control of colour, shape, and space. She feels this immediate hands-on connection with her work crucial to her creative process. Olga makes collaged works combining images and mark making with the use of scraps of screen printing and risograph prints.
