Roberto Padilla

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina (1964). At present, I explore Drawing as a visual language for poetically represent Time, Infinity, and the impact of human behavior in Nature.

I was awarded the Argentina National Endowment for the Arts Grants in 2021 and again in 2022.

I did take my first steps as a self-taught artist, but soon I was admitted to receive tutelage by artist Fabiana Barreda (Argentina, 1967) and join the group of artists she led. Afterwards, I took drawing classes under the tutelage of artist Viviana Blanco (Argentina, 1975) for a two-year period, and came back again in 2020 up today.

I took part in solo exhibitions, and in Art Prizes. In recent years: 2nd National Drawing Bienal 2021, Museo Franklin Rawson (San Juan, Argentina); Art Contest AYSA 2022, Museo del Agua (Buenos Aires, Argentina).

Some of my artworks are part of private collections.
