Valentina Cvetanovska

Valentina Cvetanovska (Tina) is a contemporary realist oil painter based in North Macedonia and an Associate Member of the Oil Painters of America (OPA). Her work has been selected for the OPA Online Showcase.
Deeply inspired by the timeless techniques of master artist David A. Leffel, Tina’s work is rooted in the classical tradition of chiaroscuro, where light and shadow are used to create form, depth, and atmosphere. She primarily focuses on still life, exploring the quiet beauty of everyday objects through refined observation.
Working from life, she applies a sensitive approach to value, color, and edges, creating harmonious compositions with a strong sense of structure and presence. Her paintings are characterized by subtle transitions, rich textures, and an intimate, contemplative mood.
Each piece is a one-of-a-kind original, inviting the viewer to pause and experience the timeless elegance of realism
