Matilde Alessandra

Biography
Born in Italy, Alessandra studied Theater Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice and subsequently spent several years in London creating sets and displays. Working with light since the late 90's she has built a reputation as both artist and designer; known for her dazzling light-paintings and singular use of fluorescent tubes, her distinctive trait, essential and immediate, permeates in all her production, spanning from sculpture, industrial design and site-specific installations. She lives and work in New York City
